Welcome to St. Tropez
15 August 2014
The tiny Town located on the French Cote d'Azur continues since over half a century to hold the worlds Society in its spell every summer. During my visits I've collected the spots that capture the unique athmosphere of St. Tropez nights & days in all its glam & glory!
The Port of St. Tropez is tiny & definately worth to explore by walking around. Instead of Shopping I rather recommend you find my favourite Ice Cream parlour Barbarac for the best scoops ;) Its located right on the waterfront & offers a great selection. Its also open until late into the night - so any midnight cravings are taken care of!
St. Tropez has become an synonym for the wildest Beachparties - there are various Beachclubs going to extremes to keep their spoiled guests entertained, the most famous one definately being Nikki Beach - but my favourite is actually by far Les Palmiers. The Lunch is great - the Service & Ambiance is stunning - & the antics of the animateurs are just outrageous. Good Time is guaranteed! Make sure you book - especially on the Weekends.

My favourite places for Dinner are Villa Romana & L'Opera - for Details on Villa Romana check my Blogpost - L'Opera is located right on the Port. The stunning, modern location is held all in white & purple lighting at night. Some Tables are very large & used as both Table as well as Stages for the performing artists. Dancers, Fireshows, Magicians - you will not be bored at Dinner, thats for sure! The food & service is great, though at times the athmosphere gets a bit chaotic. The staff does their best though to ensure that guests have everything they need. I was very impressed with the way the service was achieved.
Dinners in St. Tropez last till well after Midnight - if afterwards you are still hungry for more - its time to hit the Caves... Les Caves du Roy is definately THE Nightclub in St. Tropez one should see. Open since 1967, its one of the most famous clubs in France and considered to be one of the best clubs in the World! Champagne is Water here & the Nationalities are celebrated. The Athmosphere has a slight epic character - very nice!
Where to sleep after a hard night? The Hotel du Paris is the Winner - offering the best location right by the Port.
