Hey there Foodies!
I finally got round to filming the recipe for my favourite ever clean Banana bread combo with a liquid chocolate core!
The recipe is sweetened with dates & banana’s only, contains no refined sugars, oils or flour products. It will keep you full for long – is suitable as a breakfast, pre or post workout snack, or even as a goodnight treat to let you sleep… (did you know banana’s are great for making you go to sleep?! – Yeah!!)
What you see here is that base recipe dough which is all the ingredients except for the chocolate. Of course you can switch the peanut butter with any other nut butter, or the oat milk with any other nut milk. Instead of the dark chocolate bar you can add a bunch of other stuff like berries, fruit pieces, dried fruits, raisins or other candy like marshmallow or caramel fudge – the possibilities are endless so get creative with this recipe! Sugar frostings are also possible and if you need it sweeter just add some maple sirup. The important bit with all my recipes is being modular so that you can customize them to your taste. If you prefer it fluffier use more baking powder.
Hack: to get it out from the mold easy use a baking spray like the one you see me using in the video.
